Meet Nomphilo

Nomphilo, one of our very first Rejuvenaters, received a second-hand wheelchair just three months after Rejuvenate SA was launched. She has always been a beacon of positivity and inspiration to our team, and her story is one that has touched us deeply over the years. Recently, a few months ago, Nomphilo reached out to us in a moment of panic—her wheelchair, the one we had donated to her years ago, had broken, and she was just days away from traveling to Cape Town for a special opportunity to appear on a TV show she had been invited to.

Time was of the essence, and we knew how important this trip was for her. Without hesitation, we sprang into action, and thankfully, we were able to provide her with a brand new 4×4 wheelchair in time for her journey. With her new chair, Nomphilo was able to head to Cape Town in style, fully equipped for her exciting appearance on the TV show.

Nomphilo has always been an inspiration to the entire Rejuvenate team. Her positive outlook on life, despite the challenges she faces, is remarkable. She has a deep love for singing, video editing, and talking—skills that reflect her vibrant personality. When we asked her about her dreams and career aspirations, she shared her desire to become a radio presenter, a role that would perfectly suit her charismatic nature.

One day, we hope to help Nomphilo make that dream come true. Perhaps the Rejuvenate Team will have the honor of giving her the chance to share her voice on the airwaves, allowing her to inspire even more people with her joyful spirit and infectious energy. Nomphilo’s journey continues to motivate us, and we’re excited to see what the future holds for her.
